Application areas:
The self-hardening alkaline phenolic resin process is also known as the A-SET method. Sand is mixed with alkaline phenolic resin and organic ester curing agent to form cores. It hardens at room temperature and is suitable for the production of alloy steel, carbon steel, high manganese steel, ductile iron, and aluminum alloy castings.
